Making Your Marc

I am currently in the midst of writing a research essay on the lovely Marc Chagall, an artist from the late 1800s-early 1900s who fell into many movements while simultaneously standing apart as a talent all his own. Chagall was a whimsical and happy artist. Common themes that appear in his work are his wife Bella (whom he was passionately in love with), his Jewish heritage, and images from his youth in Vietbsk, Russia. I am also in the process of reading his autobiography which is titled "My Life" and is frequently referred to as one of the "most beautiful autobiographies of all time". I must admit that it is certainly written for a particular type of audience, but I myself do find it quite charming indeed.
